Girl in Progress is part of a mother-daughter story (easily planned with a date of Mother's Day weekend May 11 release) and the A Easy, Latina style. Aspect of the film is the struggle of a family to look frustrated when her single girl living her life almost irresponsible and irrational as a teenager. With the mother and child must both grow little to resolve the problem between them. Easy A Parable surrounding an English class lesson about the rites of passage that inspires youth to adopt a new persona alone are staggering.
Grace (Eva Mendes) pregnant at 17, dropped out of high school, and began the long struggle he was working around the clock to support herself and her daughter. He worked at two jobs (as a waitress and a cleaning woman) to pay the bills, but even so have trouble finding money for college daughter.
In addition, he openly dating a rich doctor, who happened to be married with children. Although Ansiedad (terrific newcomer cierra Ramirez) did not approve of her choice of bed partners, infidelitcontinues to remain. When Ansiedad learn about the characters and situations in the story cliche coming-of-age of a typical (through lectures by her English teacher [Patricia Arquette]) he decided to try it for themselves as a means of quickly entering adulthood. He began the adventure of self-destructive act involving random quirkiness, disposal companions (Raini Rodriguez) and befriends a girl bad, build their potential and then squandered it, and finally lost her virginity to a bad boy. He's desperately trying to grow the effect all those around him - especially his mother.
