MIRROR MIRROR

Telling the story of Snow White, but adds humor, attitude and contemporary language and really go to town on the sets and costumes. It would be like "Shrek" or "Hoodwinked!" But with live actors. Somewhere between meeting the field and opening of the film, this fairy tale happy ending sadly lost her grounded. "Mirror Mirror" is a minor minor. It has its moments, many of them thanks to the late Oscar-winning costume Eiko Ishioka a stunningly inventive and over-the-top, but it's far, far from a classic.

The film is directed by Tarsem Singh ("Immortals" and "The Cell"), the movie is better known as a luxurious look than the narrative coherence or performances. He's doing a little better here in keeping the story together, but the film is still sad uneven, awkward seesawing between comedy, action scenes and visual magnificent. As they "Fairy Tales Crack" long used to appear on "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle," puts "Mirror" clearly modernist twist on the familiar story of Snow White. Though the movie characters wear period clothing and wigs and bizarre live in palaces and villages that look like something out of an MGM back lot extravaganza from the 1930's (but in color), attitudes and actions are very up to date.

Snow White (Lily Collins) here is every bit the equal if not better than he was cool prince (Armie Hammer, who continues to impress), who was himself the object of lustful gaze frankly and comments by the evil queen (Julia Roberts). The dwarf who befriended Snow White now a group wisecrackers ever turning to theft after being driven out of the village by the Queen, who is anti-poor people. Sometimes, humor efforts pay off, especially in scenes between Queen silly ridiculous, holding haughty - Roberts is having a great time here, but there's nothing subtle in his performance - and the Prince of the ball a bit dim. And Nathan Lane, playing a courtier toadying to the Queen, always managed to land her laugh.

Part of the problem of "Mirror" is that the screenplay, credited to two writers and a third get credit story is all over the place. At times, it seems that the film is a satire about anxiety during aging, as the Queen frets over who is the prettiest in the country. But it also suggests a political agenda, such as the villagers say that burdensome taxes collected by the Queen being used to keep them safe, and to be about feminist, such as Snow White and Prince battle for the upper hand while fighting or crossed swords.

THE THREE STOOGES

What people need to know about The Three Stooges?
People need to know that The Three Stooges is a tribute Farrelly brothers' comedy team for the famous 1930s/40s. Although the Stooges are generally good natured and have good intentions, they are very cruel, especially to each other. This constant slapstick has no physical effect and there are no consequences for the Stooges themselves, although secondary characters who receive injury. Also, the plot of the film has received a job Stooges to kill a man for money, even though they naively believe that he is dying and that the money would go to save an orphanage. Expect some suggestive sexual situations and innuendo funny and derogatory language like "stupid," "idiot," and "shut up." Reality show Jersey Shore are prominent. The Three Stooges is much tamer than the usual fare Farrellys', and the semi-humorous disclaimer at the end of the address violent films and urged children not to try it, but it is still the most extensive youth brand of comedy.
Get off at an orphanage as a baby, Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos), Larry (Sean Hayes), and Curly (Will Sasso) grow into a troublemaker. Moe almost be adopted, but did not want to leave without her friends. As adults, they are still working at the orphanage, continued stabbing and hitting each other and causing all sorts of chaos. When the future of the orphanage is threatened, the Stooges head to the big city to raise money to save it. It involves the murder plot / shabby affair, in which the boys do not have the knowledge, but also involves the direction of Moe's role in the reality show Jersey Shore. Can Stooges get themselves out of trouble and save the children?

Easy A Parable surrounding an English class lesson about the rites of passage that inspires youth to adopt a new persona alone are staggering.

AARON DAN SARAH

The film, starring Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson tells the story of a nerdy guy and a popular girl and, who met as freshmen in college. Previously, they had known each other for more than four years in high school, met in prom night four and one funeral, but then eventually became friends and fell in love. If you follow the storyline of the movie, you'll understand how a love that happens, that love is not about finding the perfect person, but someone who is not perfect tune.

Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson are set to star as two pals-- a popular girl and a geeky boy-- who fall in love over the course of high school. The plot apparently includes "four proms and a funeral," so we can all be grateful they didn't just call it that in a deliberate attempt to evoke Four Weddings and a Funeral and doom themselves in the process. Chad Gomez Creasey and Dara Resnik Creasey wrote the script together, though after so many years in development there's no telling how much it might resemble what they originally came up with.

Roberts and Hutcherson have both been building their indie cred this year, though he more successfully than she; Hutcherson was part of the fantasticThe Kids Are All Right ensemble, while Roberts was in the Sundance misfireTwelve as well as the disappointing It's Kind of a Funny Story and What's Wrong With Virginia?, both of which bowed at Toronto. I'm a bigger fan of Hutcherson's work so far than Roberts-- I was really, really rooting for him to be Spider-Man-- but I like the idea of the two of them together. As for NPH's potential directing abilities, there's really no telling, but given that he's succeeded at everything else he's tried to do so far, who's to doubt he'd be perfect at this?
